At first I didn’t give much credence to the benefits of acupuncture, but Worker’s Comp. sent me here in lieu of having further cortisone injections which I have been relying on for approximately the last eight years. You know what though, I really think there’s something to this Eastern way of healing. The pain I suffered was mostly gone by the end of the initial six sessions during November and December 2018. It has now been about 8 months since my last session, and my chronic pain has returned. I requested another six sessions which begin next week. We’ll see how it goes, but as it stands I am discovering that I get just as much relief – and for the same length of time – with acupuncture as I do with cortisone injections.

Having suffered from an automobile accident in 2010 and enduring the physical strains of being a mail carrier for the US Postal Service the last 32 years, I have developed moderate to severe osteo arthritis in my knees, lower back and shoulders. The pain at times was so overwhelming I slept in a reclining chair for months. Since coming to The Healing Arts Health Center my pain and quality of life is tremendously better. Shaheed is right on point with my pain management. He is professional and knowledgeable and always knows exactly how to calm my pain down. If you haven’t tried the cupping you should, I love having it right after my acupuncture treatment. I also want to say his staff is great, they are always pleasant, friendly and accommodating. Shaheed has helped eliminate the pain from my carpal tunnel syndrome in both hands, due to pregnancy and overuse of hands. My chiropractor referred me here after my neurologist said physical therapy, acupuncture, and massage would not help. I, too, was skeptical that needles in my legs would cure the pain in my hands. I started out with two visits in a week, then once a week, then once every two weeks. It is fascinating to see that he will put the needles on different spots–on my hands, legs, ears–to see which points are the most receptive. I feel better a LOT better –it doesn’t hurt to open a jar or turn the doorknob or use the mouse on my computer; and the treatment has lasted between visits!
He is very knowledgeable, easy going, answers my questions, friendly, professional, and just a nice guy. He is really likable and has a pleasant bedside manner. I recommend wearing pants that can roll up and comfortable clothing since you are resting for a good 45-60 minutes with the needles and drinking water afterwards. He even agreed to treat me for tightness in my traps at no extra charge! I am very pleased to have him provide me treatment.

I saw Shaheed for general relaxation an stress reduction. I fell asleep in no time and woke up feeling total relaxation. I went back to work and recommended this to all of my work associates. Phenomenal Experience
I recently went to Healing Arts Health Center for acupuncture for only my second time ever. I went into my appointment with a headache, back/neck/shoulder aches, arthritis in my hand flaring up and generally tired. I came out of my appointment with energy, no headache,and my back/neck/shoulders feeling fine. Overall, I felt amazing. After discussing the many aches and pains with Shaheed, he was able to help me feel much, much better. I recommend Healing Arts Health Center to anybody....

I saw Kaiylin for a massage and Shaheed for accupuncture. The massage was fabulous. She listened to my needs and tailored the massage intensity to my request. I will utilize her services again and have recommended her to friends. Shaheed is gentle and very passionate about what he does. 1st Time Acupuncture Patient
The staff at Healing Arts Health Center are so friendly and helpful! And the online appointment book is great to use-- can make an appoinment anytime I want! The acupuncture was FANTASTIC!!! I'm amazed to find it didn't hurt AT ALL!!! An unexpected side effect was that it opened up my lungs & airways better than both my maintenance & rescue asthma inhalers combined, even though I was coming in for migraine treatments. My migraines are less frequent and less severe since I have been coming in.

Shoulder Pain
I held off doing anything about my right shoulder blade pain until it got to the point that I was hunched over. I looked online and found Healing Arts Center and the combo deal of accupuncture and massage. I started in March and the treatments were amazing! Between Acupuncture and Massage my shoulder feels great and can even withstand the wakeboarding and miles of motorcycle riding that I put it through! Thanks so much to Shaheed & Kailyn.

Haven't felt this well in a long time
Six herniated disks is a real problem with pain. I've been through the entire "Pain Program" at Kaiser, to no avail. Kailyn has helped me immeasurably. I look forward to my visits like no other time in my schedule. Thank you for your healing.
